Our Youth Group consists of students in grades 6 through 12.

We meet every Wednesday night from 7 to 8:30pm.  

We also have a calendar full of monthly outings and fun events.

We come from many different backgrounds, but we have one focus – to bring glory to God in reaching students for Christ!

 

Our youth ministry models itself by looking at how Jesus did ministry here on earth. These principles sum up our focus: 

WIN the lost. We desire to reach students who do not know Jesus Christ.

BUILD them up in the faith. We desire to help students mature in their walk with Jesus by teaching God’s Word.

EQUIP them to serve. We desire our students to be leaders in and out of youth group as they serve Jesus. 

 

As these three principles sum up our ministry focus, it is equally essential to note that they are build upon a foundation of:

PRAYERFUL DEPENDENCE - everything is saturated with prayer.

INTENTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS - spending quality time with one another. 

AN ATMOSPHERE OF LOVE - everyone is accepted and valued.  

A PROPER CONCEPT OF CHRIST - the more we know Him, the more we will be able to trust Him. 

A HEALTHY MINISTRY IMAGE - we want a positive, healthy excitement about Christ, His message, and our future. 

THE CENTRALITY OF GOD'S WORD - lives are transformed by interaction with God and His unchanging, uncompromising scripture. 

Bible Quizzing:

Some of our youth participate in monthly Bible Quizzes with other youth from around the state of Florida.  Our goal is to see visible evidence of the application of God's Word in the lifestyle of each participant in a fun setting.
